At Barratt Due, students will receive dedicated mentoring and ongoing support in a unique and inspiring learning environment.

With us, the teaching is professional- and performance-oriented, with a focus on developing your own artistic voice and making sure you are ready for a career in music performance. From the first semester you will be on stage, either as a soloist, in chamber groups or in larger ensembles and opera productions.

The Bachelor’s degree opens doors to a wide array of career paths: orchestral musician, opera singer, chamber musician, soloist or freelance performer. You can also choose to continue your studies with a Master in Music Performance or extended studies with Practical Pedagogical Education (PPU).

Barratt Due Music Institute has fostered some of Norway’s greatest talents in classical music, and our alumni are living proof – from star soloists to orchestral musicians in the Philharmonic, the Opera and KORK, as well as in world-renowned ensembles and chamber orchestras.
