A close-knit, supportive and ambitious student community where you get to play, sing, create and grow – every day.
You have numerous opportunities to collaborate through chamber music groups, choirs, opera- and orchestra projects. You are also free to take the initiative to form your own ensembles and projects during your studies, and we help facilitate such initiatives.
At the Barratt Due Academy you have great opportunitites for creating and participating in social activities and collaborative projects. As our student community is relatively small, there is a short distance between you and your fellow students.
The Barratt Due Academy's instruction model provides each teacher with a concentrated student group. This, combined with a large number of principal instrument lessons, gives you ample opportunity for individual follow-up.
Being a student at Barratt Due means becoming part of a close-knit and inspiring community.
The student community is defined by a strong sense of belonging and a culture of supporting one another, both academically and socially.
Here, students are encouraged to explore, experiment, and shape their musical identity, supported by an environment where you are both seen and heard.
With our facilities in Lyder Sagens Gate and Norabakken, we ensure that students have good access to practice rooms, providing flexible opportunities for independent practice and in-depth study.
