Learning Outcomes
Students who have successfully completed the course:
- demonstrate a solid foundation in vocal technique and have developed the ability to interpret music with stylistic awareness and differentiation.
- have a strong understanding of different approaches to practice and preparation.
- are able to structure their daily work and develop a plan for achieving their educational goals.
- have further developed their ability to collaborate with others.
- are able to communicate artistic intentions through music.
- are able to apply knowledge acquired in supporting subjects and reflect on the significance of these subjects in their work with the main instrument.
Teaching and Learning Methods
The course includes:
- Individual tuition with the main instrument teacher.
- Accompaniment sessions with the Academy’s accompanist.
- Active and passive participation in interpretation classes within the section.
- Masterclasses, where relevant in collaboration with external partners.
- Participation in section concerts with solo repertoire.
- Vocal projects and other performance activities as defined in the Academy’s annual plan.
- Chamber choir.
- Vocal anatomy (completed during the first or second year of study).
- Language II for Singers.
