Upon successful completion of the four-year Bachelor’s Programme in Performance, you will have achieved the following learning outcomes:

Knowledge

• Broad knowledge of the history, traditions, aesthetics, theory, terminology and repertoire of classical music.
• An understanding of the role of music in cultural and societal contexts.
• Knowledge of artistic research and scholarly research within the field.
• The ability to update and further develop your knowledge, and to reflect critically on your own practice and professional issues.

Skills

• The ability to perform as a soloist and ensemble musician and to communicate artistic intentions at a professional level.
• The ability to apply music history, traditions, aesthetics, theory, terminology and repertoire in performance.
• The ability to draw upon artistic research and scholarly research in your own work.
• The ability to take responsibility for your professional development through reflection and continuous learning.

General Competence

• The ability to plan and carry out artistic projects over time, both independently and collaboratively, in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
