- One to two academic staff members from the programme’s academic environment
- One to two external academic staff members from corresponding or related disciplines
- One external representative from professional life
- One to two students
- One representative from the administrative staff
Roles and Communication
Chair of the Review Panel
Responsible for chairing meetings and ensuring progress throughout the review process.
Secretary
Responsible for convening meetings, taking minutes and contributing to the final report.
Other Members
Contribute to discussions, the final report and, where appropriate, to specific topics based on their expertise.
Quality Area under Review
The study programme is evaluated with particular emphasis on the area of Programme Design and Societal Relevance.
Terms of Reference for the Review Panel
The review panel shall evaluate the study programme and its relevance to professional life and society’s current and future competence needs, in light of the Academy’s overall vision.
Mandate of the Review Panel
The panel shall:
- assess whether the accreditation requirements set out in the Regulations concerning Supervision of Educational Quality are satisfactorily met and, where relevant, identify areas in which the programme does not fulfil the accreditation criteria;
- assess whether the programme demonstrates satisfactory completion rates and documented results;
- provide assessments and recommendations that may contribute to the further development of the programme.
Reporting and Follow-up
The Chair of the Review Panel prepares an evaluation report, which is considered by the Programme Committee, the Rectorate and the Board. Academy Management and the Rectorate are responsible for following up the report in accordance with its recommendations.
Academy Management holds overall responsibility for ensuring that measures are initiated where necessary and appropriately followed up. Responsibility for implementation is shared between the Programme Leader, the administration and the academic environment.
Academy Management also holds overall responsibility for ensuring that the review process is initiated and conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and internal procedures.
