Learning Outcomes
Students who have successfully completed the course:
- have a reflective understanding of their current and/or future professional identity as musicians and the motivations that underpin it.
- have a basic understanding of self-employment and freelance professional practice.
- have a basic knowledge of digital tools for personal branding and professional promotion.
- are able to reflect on how to position themselves as musicians for different segments of the labour market.
- have a basic understanding of the music profession and industry, and of how to maintain and further develop this knowledge.

- Knowledge of the national and international music sectors.
- Tools for self-employed musicians, including taxation and financial reporting.
- Career development and the development of a professional profile in digital media.
- Sustainable careers in music.
