Learning Outcomes
Students who have successfully completed the course:
- have experience of musical and organisational collaboration, including the planning and implementation of rehearsals both within the ensemble and in collaboration with the teacher.
- have knowledge of chamber music repertoire from different historical periods and an understanding of the challenges associated with ensemble playing.
- are able to create a personal and unified musical expression in collaboration with others.
Teaching and Learning Methods
The course includes:
- Participation in workshops.
- A project week with a focus on repertoire and ensemble playing.
- Instruction and ensemble work with one or more teachers.
- Regular individual preparation.
- Concert performances.
