Bergen Municipality supports Young Talents Bergen, a collaborative program with Barratt Due for young music students with special talent. Among others, The Kavli Foundation, the Grieg Foundation, the Rieber Foundations, Fana Savings Bank and H. Westfal-Larsen and Wife Anna Westfal-Larsen's Foundation, the municipality has contributed for a number of years to 15 students receiving specialization in classical music, orchestra playing and education at a high level – while belonging to a national learning environment.

UNOF is a nationwide organization for children's and youth orchestras in Norway. They offer various support schemes and help build a learning environment through courses and seminars, among other things.

Oslo Music Council works to ensure that music and cultural life in Oslo will have better conditions. They manage support schemes such as training grants and provide concert support and operating grants to choirs, bands, and orchestras through the Oslo Municipality.

Musikk på Majorstuen is Norway's largest public investment in young musical talent. 150 students from grades 5–10 receive an expanded musical programme integrated into their schooling every week. Through the collaboration with Barratt Due, the children receive comprehensive education in music and orchestral/smaller ensemble opportunities, in an environment that cultivates talent, well-being and the joy of learning.

Barratt Due and the Oslo Philharmonic are collaborating on the Young Philharmonic programme, a national mentoring programme for young orchestral musicians. The parties are now exploring new ways to link education and professional orchestral work more closely together – a collaboration with the aim of strengthening Norwegian music life and the development of future classical performers. In addition, many philharmonic members are involved in teaching at Barratt Due.

Oslo Municipality is a strategic partner in fulfilling our common social mission. Since 2011, we have collaborated on Musikk på Majorstuen and from 2014 on the talent program at Edvard Munch High School. Students receive professional training, interaction and inspiration - tightly integrated into everyday school life. Now, preliminary education in performing music is also being developed. The collaboration is unique in Norway. We are proud to be part of the municipality's commitment to art, culture, and education.

Barratt Due collaborates with Edvard Munch High School on its own talent program in classical music. Ten students in each grade receive in-depth study of their principal instrument, interaction and theory, integrated into upper secondary education. The program gives young performers valuable experience and prepares them for higher music education.

Barratt Due and Oslo Academy of the Arts collaborate on joint opera and orchestra projects where students from both institutions meet in professional productions. The projects provide valuable experience in the interaction between performing arts and music and strengthen the foundation for future artistic collaborations.

Barratt Due collaborates with Bergen Cultural School on Young Talents Bergen. The program provides young music students with the opportunity for specialization, one-to-one instruction, and collaboration through ensembles and larger orchestral projects.
