Stefan Soskic

Stefan Soskic is employed as a college lecturer at Barratt Due Institute of Music and teaches at Musikk på Majorstuen.

Soskic works as a freelance musician and clarinet teacher in Oslo. He completed his master’s degree in 2017 at the Norwegian Academy of Music, where he studied under Professors Björn Nyman and Fredrik Fors. In addition, he pursued further studies in conducting (Ensemble Leadership I) with Professor Sigmund Thorp in 2018.

Soskic has collaborated with various professional orchestras, both in Norway (The Norwegian Opera & Ballet, Norwegian Broadcasting Orchestra) and abroad. He has also worked as a substitute in several symphony orchestras across Norway. His repertoire spans works from the Classical period to contemporary music, in addition to folk music and jazz. Soskic is a permanent member of the Oslo Clarinet Quartet and the Oslo Opera Trio.
