Solveig Valebjørg

Solveig Valebjørg teaches clarinet and chamber music at Musikk på Majorstuen.

Solveig Valebjørg is a clarinetist with extensive experience as a performer in Norway’s military bands, orchestras, and other ensembles. She is also a sought-after teacher and is deeply committed to her pedagogical work.

Valebjørg received her education from the Norwegian Academy of Music, earning a bachelor’s degree in performance and practical-pedagogical training in clarinet. Her teachers included Tove Bratbakk and Prof. Hans Christian Bræin. Solveig Valebjørg works as a faculty teacher at Musikk på Majorstuen. In addition, she has several years of experience working in the Nedre Eiker cultural school and conducts school bands and amateur ensembles.

She has been affiliated with Barratt Due Music Institute as a teacher since January 2019.
