Peder Barratt-Due is the project coordinator for Barratt Due Alumni (BDA) and Music in Theory and Practice (MITOP).
He holds a double bachelor’s degree in Electronic Production & Design and Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music (2012–2016), where he studied composition with Prof. Marti Epstein. As a composer, his works have been performed at numerous festivals, including MA/IN Materia in Italy, Echofluxx in Prague, Segnali in Milan, Bowling Green New Music Festival in the USA, Edinburgh International Festival in Scotland, ULTIMA, Valdres Summer Symphony, and Interpuls in Norway. His compositions have been broadcast on BBC3 and NRK1. In 2020, he received the Music Publisher Award for “Breakthrough of the Year – Classical/Contemporary” for his viola duet Ildfluer.
Since autumn 2021, Peder has been associated with Barratt Due as project coordinator for Musikk i teori og praksis (MITOP), an educational program in music history, theory, and ear training for children and youth aged 10–19. In this role, he has been responsible for communication, collaborative projects, grant and rights applications, and shared responsibility for the progress and development of the program.
In 2024, he worked as coordinator for projects linked to Young Philharmonics and from autumn 2024, serves as project coordinator for Barratt Due Alumni (BDA).
