Marianne Lewis

Marianne Lewis has extensive experience teaching children and young people in singing and voice use.

Marianne Lewis made her debut in Oslo in 1986. Since then, she has performed as a soloist both in Norway and abroad, appearing in opera productions, operettas, musicals, and oratorios. She has also contributed to several recordings and has extensive experience as an educator.

Lewis trained in singing and vocal pedagogy at the Norwegian Academy of Music and the Musikhochschule Lübeck, and is a versatile performer.

She has considerable experience teaching singing, voice use, and interpretation at Music at Majorstuen.

In addition to her lecturer position at the Barratt Due Institute of Music, Marianne Lewis also serves as a vocal instructor for the Children’s Choir at the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet.
