Liv Astrid Hall
Choir Conductor, Ear Training●Academy, Musikk på MajorstuenLiv Astrid Hall is an experienced and dedicated conductor and ear-training instructor with practice in teaching, choral projects, courses, and competitions. She is the conductor of the Chamber Choir in Music at Majorstuen and teaches aural training at the College of the Barratt Due Institute of Music.

Liv Astrid holds a candidate degree in choral conducting from the Norwegian Academy of Music and a bachelor’s degree in musicology from the University of Oslo. She has studied conducting with Vivianne Sydnes and classical singing with Mona Julsrud. In the autumn of 2019, she completed her master’s degree in ear-training at the University of Tromsø.
In addition to her work at Barratt Due, Liv Astrid Hall is permanently engaged as the conductor of the chamber choir Vox Humana. She is also regularly engaged as a course instructor and supervisor in conducting and ear-training methodology.
She teaches at the Music School and the Academy at the Barratt Due Institute of Music.
