Kristin Fyrand Mikkelsen

Kristin Fyrand Mikkelsen is a performing pianist and Head of the Piano, Vocal, Church Organ, and Guitar Department at the Music School under Barratt Due Institute of Music.

Fyrand Mikkelsen holds a master’s degree in piano performance from the Norwegian Academy of Music.

Alongside her teaching, she works as a freelance pianist and serves as subject leader at the Valdres Summer Symphony. She is also the artistic director of the concert series *Resonans.*

She is employed as an Associate Professor at the Barratt Due Institute of Music, where she teaches piano, chamber music, and interpretation.
