Kathrine Tornås is Head of Department at the academy and a member of the management team at the Barratt Due Institute of Music.
She has budgetary and personnel responsibility for both academic and administrative staff at the academy.
In addition, she is responsible for the maintenance and further development of the bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes.
Tornås holds a master’s degree in Music from the University of Oslo and has been employed at the Barratt Due Institute of Music since 2006.
