Ingrid Loe Landmark

Ingrid Loe Landmark has authored books, and a number of her musicological articles have been published in both Norwegian and international journals.

Ingrid Loe Landmark is the head of the theory department at Barratt Due Institute of Music. She has previously taught at the Department of Music at NTNU and has also served as curator at the Ringve Music Museum in Trondheim. Loe Landmark has a diverse scholarly output, published both nationally and internationally.

Ingrid Loe Landmark holds a PhD in musicology from NTNU. She defended her dissertation *Thomas Tellefsen in Norwegian and French Music Culture – a Reception-Historical and Work-Analytical Study* (NTNU, 2005). Her postdoctoral work resulted in the book *Nostalgi eller nyskaping? Nasjonale spor i norsk musikk – Brustad, Egge og Groven* (Akademika 2011).

Loe Landmark was co-editor and co-author of the book *East of Noise. Eivind Groven – Composer, Ethnomusicologist, Folk Music Researcher* (Akademika 2013). Her most recent book, *Koste hva det koste vil!* (Musikforlaget 2024), focuses on Norwegian female composers from 1880–1960. She was also editor and contributor for the sheet music edition *Anna Lindeman Sanger, vol. 1* (Norsk Musikforlag 2019), a project initiated by the national editing and research project Norsk Musikkarv, aimed at preserving and disseminating music by Norwegian composers. Loe Landmark has additionally authored numerous musicological articles published in Norwegian and international journals.

Since 2016, Ingrid Loe Landmark has been a tenured associate professor and head of the theory department at the Academy and the Young Talents program.
