Helene Wold is trained as an opera singer at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the National Opera Studio in London. She also holds a practical-pedagogical education (PPU) from the Norwegian Academy of Music.
She has performed as an opera soloist at venues including the Glyndebourne Festival, English Touring Opera, and the Norwegian Opera. Wold is an avid chamber musician with a focus on the art song repertoire. She has released critically acclaimed solo albums on the LAWO label, including *Lieder mit und ohne Worte*, *Roser og Kierlighed*, *Liebestreu*, and *Rikard Nordraak: Songs and Piano Music*. Her regular collaborators include Liv Glaser, Eugene Asti, Vegard Lund, and Ensemble Freithoff. She tours regularly with chamber music in England and Scandinavia.
Since 2000, Helene has been employed as a lecturer in singing at the music program of Edvard Munch Upper Secondary School, giving her extensive experience as a teacher of classical singing. She also works as a voice teacher at Musikk på Majorstuen.
