Harald Hjort

Harald Hjort is the Director of Barratt Due Institute of Music. He reports to the Principal and is a member of both the Rectorate and the management team.
The Director is the top leader of the institute’s administrative operations, a responsibility Harald Hjort has held since 2008.
Hjort holds a degree in economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (Norges Handelshøyskole) and has a diverse background in both public and private sectors. Before joining Barratt Due, he worked internationally for many years in the development, management, and leadership of sponsor-funded projects. He also has extensive experience in financing and financial management, sales, marketing, and board work.
