Giulietta Cavallari

Giulietta Cavallari has specialized in teaching the very youngest children. She was among the first educators in Norway to teach groups in “Music from the Beginning of Life.

Giulietta Cavallari is particularly interested in how music functions both as a means of communication and as a developmental opportunity, and she teaches accordingly. Cavallari is a specialist in teaching the youngest children and their parents, and was among the first educators in Norway to establish groups in “Music from the Beginning of Life.

She was educated at Barratt Due Institute of Music as a music and piano pedagogue. In addition, she has completed several instructor courses offered by the association *Musikk i livets begynnelse* (Music from the Beginning of Life). She also holds intermediate studies in Italian. Cavallari has previously been affiliated with numerous music preschools and children’s orchestras, including Nordstrand Music Club, Nordstrand School Orchestra, and the Norwegian Music School.

She teaches subject didactics in the further education program and serves as a practice supervisor. She also leads music kindergarten groups for children aged 0–6, with particular expertise in the 0–1 age group. Additionally, she mentors kindergarten staff in the use of music in early childhood settings.

Giulietta Cavallari began teaching at Barratt Due Institute of Music in 1983.
